Carnival at the Biblioteca dei Bimbi

The day of Carnival, we welcomed the children and teachers of the preschool and elementary school of Carpineto Sinello to celebrate together.

Costumes, readings on animals dressing up and tricks! The children were full of excitement and we were delighted to share stories together.

Il Carnevale degli Animali, Lupo, lupo ma ci sei? and Il Mostro Peloso are the books that engaged us. Hurry back with your parents to share your favorite stories with them!

On September 21st, 2014, we held our inauguration and had so much fun! We read together, chose books, shared conversations and explored the space. We joined together to begin this journey of growing readers! Thanks to everyone for participating and sharing our enthusiasm!

Many children from Carpineto Sinello arrived alone! This freedom of movement is one of the many privileges of living in a small town. We'd be delighted to welcome your youngest children accompanied by mom, dad or grandparents to share the joy of reading aloud together!

Work in Progress

Summer has come but there is no time for a holiday at the Children's Library! Infact, we are working to fix and beautify the rooms given by the Municipality of Carpineto Sinello for the library. Everything has to be ready for the inauguration in September. Will we make it?

Let's organize the Children's Fest 2014

We are planning to host in Carpineto Sinello for Saturday 10 May

the Children's Fest

to support our first project: the Children's Library!

The day will be full of workshops, games and events for children of any age, there'll be the art and craft market, a dinner with tipical food and local products and the evening concert of the folk band Alberi Sonori.

Bring with you your books in good condition to develop our library!
